What is Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?

Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture, also known as Cosmetic Acupuncture or Acupuncture Facelift, is a virtually painless, non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process.  Although it is often referred to as a facelift, the benefits are much more than just cosmetic.  It is a rejuvenation and revitalization process designed to help the whole body look and feel younger.  It is more than a cosmetic procedure in that it improves the mind and body by building the individual from the inside out.

Facial Rejuvenation is far less costly than cosmetic surgery and is safe, virtually painless, and has no side effects or risk of disfigurement.  There is no extended recovery period with swelling and discoloration, nor is there trauma.  While Facial Rejuvenation cannot reshape the bones of the face, it can take years off the face in a safe and natural way while improving your overall health.

Does it really make a difference?

Acupuncture, which has been around for thousands of years, has survived the test of time.  The use of acupuncture in Cosmetology, especially in preventing and reducing wrinkles, has already attracted great attention in Japan, Hong Kong, and Sweden. 

A 1996 report in the International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with Facial Acupuncture, 90% had marked effects with one course of treatment.  The effects included improvement of the elasticity of facial muscles, reduction of wrinkles, a brighter complexion, and overall rejuvenation (not just confined to the face).

What is a treatment course?

A course is between 10 and 15 treatments, with the average being 12.  The effects become most noticeable and lasting on or about the 7^th session.  Each person responds differently, depending on condition and lifestyle prior to treatment.  Following the initial course of treatment, monthly maintenance sessions can prolong the results for five to ten years.

Who administers Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture?
